LiveFIT Perrysburg collaborates with Honorable Teresa Fedor in an ongoing mission to help the youth in our community fight childhood obesity. On Thursday, June 14, 2018 Honorable Fedor and Jennifer Bruns, owner of LiveFIT, met to gather ideas for working together with community leaders to help youth with physical fitness and nutrition education. Statistics show that happy, healthy children that eat well and move around have more success in school and self-confidence to make good decisions in life.
Honorable Fedor explained that building bridges between schools, faith-based organizations and local government creates the momentum for healthy change. Parents, teachers, pastors and business leaders need to be aware that Ohio has a huge need for physical education and health standards for children. By collaborating with others, we can build a safe and healthy community for our children.
LiveFIT Perrysburg is celebrating 5 years in business. Located at 26610 Eckel Rd., Ste. #1 in Perrysburg, their mission is “Fitness is a lifestyle, not a destination!” LiveFIT offers many classes for youth and adults, focusing on speed, agility, strength training and healthy habits. Experienced Personal Trainers work individually setting goals and objectives to create success for their clients.
Jennifer Bruns is looking forward to carrying her vision into the broader community to reach more youth and their parents by providing summer fitness camps, and healthful family fitness education. She is very appreciative of Honorable Fedor’s advice and continued investment in the health and well-being of our children.
