John began working for Coyle Funeral Home in 1983. He left to attend the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1989, and returned to his full time career as a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1994. John is a master embalmer, and shares his professional experience with many new and current students interested in the funeral business. He prides himself on a personal presentation of the deceased, and creating meaningful experiences for the families he cares for. John has 3 grown children, 1 daughter and 2 sons, with whom he is very close. John has been a board Trustee to the Ohio Funeral Directors, Hospice of NW Ohio, and served in many volunteer positions at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church. In his free time, he enjoys rebuilding cars and motorcycles. He also has the gifted ability to fix anything around the funeral home. He is our expert “handyman” and always willing to give our Coyle staff a hand. We are thankful for his long time loyalty and professionalism.
